I’m delighted to announce that in April 2012 Zoom Media (the worlds largest provider of Health and Fitness digital media) have formed an alliance with me.

Zoom Media are also the UK’s leading providers of Health & Fitness digital media and they have generously offered me a 3 minute slot per hour to feature on their screens in gyms throughout the UK. Gym chains include David Lloyd, Virgin Active, Fitness First and many more.

This provides a wonderful marketing opportunity for other potential sponsors further to the exposure already provided via the live telecasts on ITV4 during race weekends.

This weekend the Porsche Carrera Cup GB series headed to Donington Park. A stunning undulating circuit with high speed and technical corners it was set to be an exciting weekend of racing. After a brilliant debut weekend at Brands Hatch I was eager to get back out in the car at a new circuit.

During my debut weekend at Brands Hatch I achieved a double pole position in the ProAm2 class and I followed this performance up by achieving another double pole at Donington.

In the run up to the first corner in Race 1 I found myself jostling for position with the ProAm1 class and managed to tag onto my team mate (and ProAm1 contender) Yucel Ozbek whom I challenged until he retired with gear box problems.

Race 2 was equally successful and again I enjoyed pushing myself to keep on the heels of Yucel till this time he retired after a spin and I finished a brilliant 12th overall.
With a double pole, two great wins and two fastest laps in class I’m now comfortably leading the Championship in ProAm2 on 35 points (with my nearest competitor Goff on 20 points).

It may be early in the season which sees us racing till late October but my coach Tim Harvey and I feel positive about the coming 8 rounds and we are certainly aiming to secure this Championship!

My thanks go to my team SIBSport / Redline Racing for their fantastic work over the weekend. I’m also extremely grateful to Marque1.co.uk for their sponsorship for the first 3 rounds of the PCCGB. Without their support I would not be doing what I love.

There are still further opportunities for sponsorship for the remainder of 2012 so please feel free to contact me for further details if interested.

- A sensational start to the racing season for the first female to race in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB
- P1 in class during free practice with a time of 47.958
- Secured double pole during qualifying with times of 47.617 and 47.701
- Second place in Race 1
- Race 2 DNF due to coming off at Paddock Hill Bend but positive times with a fastest lap nearly half a second quicker than in Race 1

The lead up to my debut in PCCGB has been one of huge excitement mixed in with a small amount of trepidation.

With only six days of testing in the new GT3 Cup car and a limited season of Lotus Elise racing under my belt in 2011, one could be expected to have a small amount of nervousness! But at the same time I’ve absolutely relished the challenge of getting to know the car and already after a few short testing sessions quickly adapted and achieved some very positive times.

During the media day at Silverstone I managed the quickest time of those in my class on what was only my third day in the car. This was followed up by at test day at Donington and whilst none of my competitors were there on the day to enable a comparison, my best lap time would have put me a very respectable 4th out of 8 in last year’s ProAm2 category qualification.

This was followed up by one last track day at Brands Hatch where I was able to have my coach Tim Harvey in the car with me during the day to provide final feedback on my lines, driving technique and car setup prior to the impending race weekend.

The weekend at Brands Hatch kicked off to a fantastic start with me achieving the best time in the ProAm2 category during the free practice session on Friday. This was then followed up on Saturday during qualifying where I found a window in the traffic to post two laps good enough for pole position in each race. With a point awarded for each pole position, I was already leading the championship!

The first race I had a fairly good start despite the lack of opportunity to practice standing starts. I managed to hold the lead for most of the race until a huge moment at Graham Hill bend (which I managed to catch) gave Will Goff an opportunity to slip by me.

Shortly after I had to come into the pits because of a suspected puncture and whilst I was unable to catch Will and challenge the lead when I went back out, I managed to secure my first podium by coming second. Unfortunately Will secured the fastest lap of the race over me by 15/100ths of a second and with it the bonus championship point.

The second race got off to an equally good start but unfortunately half way through the race I came unstuck at the notorious paddock hill bend which ended my race. Still, taking the positive from this race was the fact that my fastest lap of the race was nearly half a second quicker than Race 1 so I was disappointed to learn Glorieux had beaten this by one tenth to secure the bonus championship point.

Nevertheless I could not have asked for a better start to the season. I must thank my team SIBSport for their brilliant support, Tim Harvey for his coaching and Marque1 for sponsoring my first race weekend.

Finally, many thanks to my newly acquired supporters who helped to make my first race weekend in PCCGB a phenomenal experience I will forever cherish.

Sponsorship opportunities for the 2012 season still exist so if you’re interested in innovative and cost effective business opportunities please contact me for further information.

What a phenomenal start to the racing season! I’ve just arrived home from the test day at Brands Hatch in the lead up to this weekend’s racing.
The morning session on old tyres started slowly and after gradually building up my times I managed a 48.8 putting me into second place in class.
However after a valuable session reviewing the data which identified some areas for improvement I went out in the afternoon on new tyres and secured P1 with a time of 47.9.
I’m really pleased by this result and can’t wait for the first race tomorrow. It’s going to be an incredibly fun weekend and hopefully my back and rib injuries don’t cause too much trouble for the races. Thanks go to my team for a great job today.

I’m also fortunate to have Tim Harvey as my coach. The former BTCC Champion and winner of PCCGB in 2008 and 2010 really needs no introduction. Tim has been instrumental so far in assisting my transition from a Lotus Elise to the far more powerful GT3 Cup cars. With limited time for testing prior to the season commencing Tim has been instrumental in bringing me up to speed with these stunning cars.
