This weekend the Porsche Carrera Cup GB series headed to Donington Park. A stunning undulating circuit with high speed and technical corners it was set to be an exciting weekend of racing. After a brilliant debut weekend at Brands Hatch I was eager to get back out in the car at a new circuit.
During my debut weekend at Brands Hatch I achieved a double pole position in the ProAm2 class and I followed this performance up by achieving another double pole at Donington.

- A sensational start to the racing season for the first female to race in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB
- P1 in class during free practice with a time of 47.958
- Secured double pole during qualifying with times of 47.617 and 47.701
- Second place in Race 1
- Race 2 DNF due to coming off at Paddock Hill Bend but positive times with a fastest lap nearly half a second quicker than in Race 1

What a phenomenal start to the racing season! I've just arrived home from the test day at Brands Hatch in the lead up to this weekend's racing.
The morning session on old tyres started slowly and after gradually building up my times I managed a 48.8 putting me into second place in class.
However after a valuable session reviewing the data which identified some areas for improvement I went out in the afternoon on new tyres and secured P1 with a time of 47.9.
I'm really pleased by this result and can't wait for the first race tomorrow. It's going to be an incredibly fun weekend and hopefully...

I'm delighted to announce that this year SIBSport in conjunction with Redline racing will be running my GT3 Cup car in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB. I really couldn't ask for support from better teams.
I'm also fortunate to have Tim Harvey as my coach. The former BTCC Champion and winner of PCCGB in 2008 and 2010 really needs no introduction. Tim has been instrumental so far in assisting my transition from a Lotus Elise to the far more powerful GT3 Cup cars. With limited time for testing prior to the season commencing Tim has been instrumental in bringing me up to speed with these stunning cars.
